 Hello! My name is Valeria, I’m a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist based in Boston. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, I hold an MFA in Graphic Design and an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis in graphic arts. Throughout my career, I’ve explored design across different disciplines and mediums!

I’ve worked on a range of editorial publishing, typography, and engraving projects, and contributed to an audiovisual mini-series aired on Netflix as part of the arts department. I later completed an internship at an art gallery in Bogotá before working as a production artist at a marketing agency. My work explores what it means to design from a migration perspective, examining how language, displacement, memory, and cultural translation shape visual practice. Through this lens, I focus on the creative and critical opportunities that emerge when designing between places and cultures.
