Valeria Diaz is a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist based in Boston. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, she holds an MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis in graphic arts. She has dedicated her career to this field.

She has worked on a range of editorial publishing, typography, and engraving projects, and contributed to an audiovisual mini-series aired on Netflix within the arts department. She later completed an internship at an art gallery in Bogotá and went on to work as a production artist at a marketing agency. Her work explores what it means to design from a migration perspective, examining how language, displacement, memory, and cultural translation shape visual practice. Through this lens, she focuses on the creative and critical opportunities that emerge when designing between places.
